Forest Therapy
Join me on an immersive nature walk that focuses attention on the senses in relation to the natural world around us. Based on the Japanese philosophy of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) participants are guided though a series of invitations to allow the possibility for everyone to slow down, drop into the body and find balance and harmony within the natural world. The practice is known to have many mental and physical health benefits including regulating blood pressure, pulse rate, and reducing anxiety levels when compared to a normal walk. Technically, forest bathing doesn’t even have to be in a forest to work its magic; a walk around any landscape with trees and shrubs can deliver a similar experience.
